About the artist.....

It was a chance meeting with a local artist who encouraged me to join her group, that I was able to embrace my childhood interests in drawing and painting. I later joined Padstow Art Group and aquired a love of soft and oil pastels and painting with acrylics. My subject matter varies and I will attempt projects that inspire me, usually painting from my own photographs. Living in Cornwall ensures that I will never be short of inspiration and I look forward to many years of painting, meeting friends in our group and taking part in some of the workshops run here by some of Cornwall's best artists.
