Jill Biddick

 About the artist...

Jill started painting over 20 years ago. After attending many courses and classes she eventually found herself as an Adult Education Tutor teaching watercolours.

On leaving that post because of the continuous red tape, she embarked on an A level course in Art & Design which taught her to think "outside the box".

She then experimented with acrylics and oils using a palette knife. This produced such a textured result she went on to develop this idea in her own best loved subject - the North Cornwall Coast in all it's rugged beauty.

Most of all she enjoys the friendships, support and fun at the weekly meetings of the Padstow Art Group.
