About the
artist.....
I obtained my National
Diploma of Design at Exeter College of Art in Devon and taught art at Reveres School in Tiverton,
Devon.
I've driven a one ton
truck up the Mackenzie highway, Alberta in Canada, painting the scenery and wildlife. I've also painted in
the Serengeti, Tanzania, as well as living and painting in Sibu, Sarawak.
I then came home to
England and ran a birds of prey rescue centre, and painted my patients. I was commissioned to paint 101 paintings
of British Birds for the Vanderbilt Hotel on the Cromwell Road, London.
I've exhibited at the
Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon and also an exhibition of birds of prey at a gallery in Belfast, Northern
Ireland.
I started painting
miniatures on duck eggs, and was commissioned to paint the Prince of Wales Ship for his 30th Birthday; his mother
has it on her mantlepiece.
I went to the Azores
and had exhibitions in the Academies des Artes and the Gallerie de Camera (Mayor's Gallery), and also exhibited in
various galleries throughout the country.
I joined the Padstow
Art Group and paint and exhibit with them.
