Derek Lindsey
About the artist.... My name is Derek Lindsey. I am one of the founder members of our group. The Group was formed back in 1978, I was born in Padstow, and have always had a strong association to the sea and boats, this I suppose is why most of my works are seascapes. I work mainly in pastels, although I am attempting to change to oils, which I find blend almost as freely as pastels. I hope you have enjoyed looking at my pictures and the pictures from other members within our group.
We meet weekly at the Padstow
Memorial Hall to paint together plus painting days out on the Cornish coast, we hold several
exhibitions during the year which dates can be found on our home page.
